The best source of calcium is from natural foods dairy products. Supplements can help but they are not as good as a good old glass of milk. (1 8oz serving per day) Unless you have allergies then stick with the supplements.

It is healthy. Why else would the female body automatically produce it after childbirth? It is probably the one thing that we have proof that we should be consuming. It is also a good source of vitamin d. But like everythign else, too much of a good thing can be bad.
Did you know that the human body cannot completely consume a gallon of milk in one hour? Some people may be able to drink it all, but holding it down for that complete hour will not be possible. It reacts so strongly with the stomach acid that it will all come right back out. I've seen too many attempts to do this. They're actually quite funny somtimes. Stupid, but funny.

A pint a day is healthy but much more than that is fattening and can upset your calcium balance!
