Those folks sure love your mashed potatoes, very much I usually add margarine, milk, garlic powder and a pinch of salt in them. Hope you have lots of potatoes, butter and sour cream for the big feast. Have a happy holiday.

Fresh garlic that was boiled in with the potatoes, Butter, salt and pepper, whole milk and a dash of cream. They do come out good and everyone likes them.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Mash potatoes, boil peas, heat some oil or butter, add mustard seeds, when the mustard starts popping add the potatoes, peas, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, stir. Then stuff them into tortillas.
Or make stuffed tortilla. Mashed potatoes with onions fried he same way and packed between two tortillas and saute that in butter.
Luscious.

I don't personally make this, but this is my family's common recipe. Milk or cream is added to the potatoes for the creamy texture. Garlic is always added, and tastes great. Real, fresh garlic, not garlic salt or minced garlic in a jar. That's really about it. Simple, but very good.

well when i cook mashed potatoes, i always add milk and sour cream. then as toppings i like the classics, bacon bits, gravy, cheese, pepper (not all at once of course!) I have always wanted to try mixing ranch dressing into my mashed potatoes, because i like dipping my fries in ranch. I have avoided it, but eventually I'll try it!

I only put salt, milk and butter in them usually when I'm serving them with gravy. The gravy has the taste. When I don't have gravy, I use sour cream, chives and cheddar cheese and then sprinke them with bacon bits.

86 the sour cream but maybe some chopped onion and a little parsley or a little grated cheese (blue cheese e.g. Danish Blue is amazing if decadent) .
