I just wanted to know if a person who lives outside any country be prosecuted for any crimes.

for example,

you are a Canadian Citizen you come to the U.S. and commit a crime.

Are you asking if the US can prosecute you after you have returned home to Canada....YES, only if Canada surrenders you to the US (which they will)

Now lets say you are from Canada and you visit the US and commit a crime. You have not gone back to Canada and are still in the US, the authorities will just arrest you here and prosecute you. They don't need Canada's permission.

Laws vary from country to country but the best thing to remember is this....just because you are visiting a country doesn't mean you don't have to follow the laws and regulations. If you violate them as a visitor/tourist you will still be arrested.

Depends on their country and what crime the commit. Depending on the crime the US may seek extradition for trial or they may just deport them.
