One of our customers requested a donation from us, for their annual Holiday party. We accepted and will be sending them a donation, but my boss wants me to attach a letter. I'm not very good with writing formal letters to our companys. Can someone tell me where I could find a template for that kind of letter, or where I should start?

First of all, if it is a donation, it should be for a cause, not just a holiday party. Or, is it for a raffle?

All you really need to send is a letter like this:

Dear Mr./Mrs. Jones,

Thank you for including in your holiday celebration. We are happy to share this /$100 with you.

Have a happy holiday season,

Very sincerely,

Your boss's name

I can't imagine needing to say more!

Good luck,

Robin
