I work in an Engineering and Manufacturing environment and I can attest to the fact IT plays a ig role at our plant. Our entire operation from the end user to the PC/PLCs run the entire operation here. With out computers we would be seriously under staffed as well as have to return to the days of paper and pen so to speak.
