I had taken some on line classes offered by my university but would never have wanted to do the whole thing on line. You need the interaction with other students. Its difficult to do projects without being part of a group. I also wonder(and so do prospective employers) about the grading and quality of the course material and professors in on line universities rather than the brick and mortar ones that have existed and been acredited for many years. It takes a commitment to actually attend classes and I think employers look at that along with your knowledge.
