If I loved someone enough to realize they were better off without me, I would let them go. I wouldn't like it, and I'd probably agonize over the decision, but it would never be for no apparent reason. I don't know if I'd write a note or something, I probably would.
I don't think it's possible to leave a loved one forever without an attempt at a goodbye/explanation. I don't think I could do that.

Apparently you can, but there is always a reason, even if the one being left cannot figure it out. There is a reason people stay and a reason people leave. So I guess the answer is no. You have to have a reason, but will the person be able to figure it out?

No apparent reason just means that person isn't telling you the reason or it's not a reason that you are willing to accept.
Sometimes there's nothing wrong with the person, but they're just not right for me.
I feel it's rude to dump a person without explanation. If I care for them in any way, I want them to have closure.

It is the other way around. The one we love can leave us for no apparent reason...
No apparent to us.... Very much apparent for him!

I don't see how anyone could.. if they really loved them.. but I have seen it done. I think that if someone just walks away for no apparent reason... it wasn't really love in the first place.

Yes; for a reason which is not apparent. Lots of times for a reason you have no right to tell, or it would only be cruel to tell.
It's hard, but you just have to learn to accept it.
