I think so yes, I`ve never understood why that is. It does say that you can`t take flammable things on the bus but paint is paint, I have seen folk refused `cos they have a take away in a bag and they obvisouly don`t intend to eat it on the bus. I once seen a guy try and get a washing machine on the bus! lol, He had it wedged in a shopping trolley and suggested the driver allow him to put it in the space for wheel chairs believe it or not.

What color was the paint?
I was getting on the bus and the woman in front of me had a baby in her arms. The bus driver said to the woman, "That's the ugliest baby I've ever seen." The woman stormed to the back of the bus and told the man next to her, "That bus driver just insulted me." The man said, "You don't have to take that from him, go tell him off. Go ahead, I'll hold your monkey."

Health and safety. She might have had a weird compulsion to paint over the bus drivers eyes in which case the bus would have crashed resulting in carnage.

Because of a tin of paint? Sure, it is ridiculous! Did you protest? If not. That is ridiculous too.

Ridiculous, however, if it was an obnoxious 15 year-old on a train, disrupting fellow passengers and even refusing to pay, the train staff are not allowed to put the 'little darling' off the train, lest something bad happens to him.
The law's a donkey. (Another example of PC stupidity...I was not allowed to write *** .... a, s, s,...it's a dirty word somewhere I suppose).

How else was she supposed to get it home. Those things get heavy. How ridiculous. No different than a can of peaches or beans.
