I love my parents, I get along with them. I butt heads with my mom sometimes, I think sometimes she still thinks of me as a little girl and not as grown up and I don't think that ever changes. I still think of my son as a little boy and he is 12 now. I think that if you respect your parents they will respect you and then you can have a good relationship with them but for the most part I get along very well with my parents

Yep...pretty much. They're getting up there in age 74 & 71...which means I'm getting older too....We've been through alot together as a family here in the last 11 years....my son has had alot of surgery due to a cogential birth defect and my mom is going through breast cancer....these things are very difficult and its brought us all closer together....
The most important thing to me, is that my kids really know their grandparents....they have had 15 and 11 years with 'em...

I am forever grateful, and love my parents. They have their quirks, but who doesn't?
They have been a great example of a faithful couple, married for 35 years now, so what more can a kid ask for.
I'm still sorta mad about the shoes I didn't get in 5th grade... :?

it is not i do not get along it is like we are on different realities
sometimes me and dad fight it out and i mean physically my step mom lost a child because of me but it stops at my real mom i love her very much i even take her side whenever there is something

my real dad isn't in the picture and far as my mother goes
she more like the child and I'm the parent. I can't wait to finally go back home to my husband in december.

I was best friends with my mum, but she passed away in may. My dad and i got on but didnt really put to much effort into it. but since she has gone, all we got is each other so we get on great now.

They just can't believe that I am superman , even after I lift the Whole Dresser in front of their eyes !
p.s. still grounded for breaking that stupid dresser !
