I met a girl that my bestfriend introduced to me when i had just broken up with my Capricorn girlfriend of 5yrs, my bestfriend told the girl which is her cousin that if she told me she was a Capricorn i would not date her so she told me she was a Sag and just last night she told me the truth that she really was a Capricorn, the thing is i was'nt mad that she was a Capricorn it was just the thought that she lied to me for 8mos and didn't give me choice just assumed that i would'nt deal with her at all if she told me the truth about her sign, i feel like if you would lie to me about something that petty what else would you lie about she says that's the only thing, (so what should i do?)

I understand that you are concerned because your relationship got off under false pretenses.
It is not a cardinal sin however. She could have just said she would tell you later. She obviously really wanted to date you and was concerned this might be an issue... insecurity.
Forgive and forget. If you really like this girl, it was a small thing. Pick your battles in life. Let the little things go. Life is too short.
However, if your girlfriend shows a propensity to fabricate in other areas of her life, you may want to examine whether this relationship is one you want to carry for the long term.

You know what? You had it right when you said it was petty. What difference does it make? Lying to you about her star sign isn't exactly the worst thing a person could do. I suggest you chill out and stop putting so much importance on a star sign!

She was wrong for lying, yes, but you seem equally as silly to her, because she assumes that you're only dating her because she's not a Capricorn (dumb reason). Still, I'd confront her about it. Why lie about something so petty? Makes me wonder what else she's hiding...
And anyway, you seriously didn't notice that...?

that is retarded!!!!!! 1st of all if u would not date someone because there sign that is ridiculous - 2nd no one should ever lie in a relationship but dude - that is in a whole other catergory of lieing - it was so u would go out with her - thats diffrent - drop the whole thing - there is no point in fighting over one of the reasons you got together
