In the Inspector General he plays a guy PRETENDING to be a general.. (He is in fact a charlatan helping to sell phony Elixer for a Gypsy) and in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty he imagined he was (I'm pretty sure he had a general in there).. (He is an over imaginative loner)I think the only one where he ACTUALLY played a general was the Danny Kaye Show He is to be sent undercover into a German military base. He also played Napolian at one point on his own show..

Hmm.. (I'm going to keep thinking about this until I mentally go through all of them) White christmas IS a possibility.. I don't think he reached that rank.. (Bing Crosby's Character did).. but it's not completely impossible.. (I haven't watched it in about 8 yrs.)

hmm.. Up in arms he might have been, but I don't think so. He was not allowed into the military (because he's a hypochondriac if I am correct.. flat feet being the only real issue he had).. So, I don't think he got into that rank.
