What really gets me lately about this whole affair is how Gerry McCann is saying how he knew they were being watched by a predator. what we tend to forget is that if jo public left their kids alone and it was so they could go and eat at a resturant or buger off down the pub social services would have taken all their kids away with the help of child protection officers regardless of if they were checking on them every what was it twenty minutes.
the fact that these parents are doctors and there oath is first do no harm is absolutley unforgiveable.
fair enough no parent should lose a child but no child should be neglectfully left alone either.

I feel sorry for the mum of ben needham does any one still remember this little lad he was out playing while on holiday

I remember James Bulger.. You cannot compare the 2cases one little bit, Denise had James by her side, she didn't walk off and leave him trailing.. what happened to that poor little boy was an act of unspeakable evil .. she had turned for seconds to pay the butcher.. SECONDS.. the McCanns wilfully left their 3 babies in a unlocked apartment, in a foreign country that they knew nothing about, with a door backing onto a main road, near a swimming pool, with NO clear line of sight, checking on them every 30 MINUTES (supposedly!!) I am sorry, but these 2 cases cannot be compared... The McCanns didn't make a mistake.. they took a huge calculated risk with their babies, and the odds were stacked against them!!! Denise paid for something in a shop, with James standing beside her, The Bulger case is the reason my own toddler is always on reigns....

what exactly is your point here? We all know that Madeleine is still missing. I am sure her parents fell horrible for leaving her unattended. Did they hurt her we dont know that at this point.
