Mutual interests is usually how I begin a friendship. Then I learn to trust that person and if I find they are gossips or not worth trusting I usually don't continue the friendship. I also look for friends that can teach me things, like from different back grounds or different religious beliefs.

I like to think I pick them but I am pretty sure they pick me! However they gotta be more outsane then me for them to be truly great ones!

I pick them carefully. If they're loutish I don't associate with them. If they smoke bong or use illegal drugs, I keep away from them.
If they're genuine people with good attitudes and treat others with respect, then I try to get to know them. Good people ought to stick together.

Just by liking them, sometimes I meet people and I take an instant dislike to them.
I find there is something in peoples eyes, I see that I dont like.
