We had this 3 feet by 6 feet tarpaulin printed for an event. Unfortunately, we had trouble with the venue so the event was moved to a later date. We can't afford to have another tarpaulin printed with the date corrected because we've gone way over budget!

Can anyone suggest ways to cover up the old dates and replace them with the new one on the tarpaulin? The background color is multi colored and plain paper might not be a good idea.

But any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I'd use Krylon for plastics, spray paint, and they make all colors of electrical tape for the new lettering. Just paint out a "blast" shape with the paint and add the new dates.
