as theres been loads of final fantasy games why is it the best
(before you critisise me iv never played it)

Y'know I haven't the foggiest. I've played all the FF games on every platform just about and I happen to think 9 is better. How in the world 7 got to be so over-rated is beyond me, when most people can't even give a short synopsis of the story line. Don't get me wrong it's a good game, it's just not the be-all, end-all RPG that people have built it up to be.

the reason why it's still a good game after all these years is because it was the very first Final Fantasy game to be put on the Playstation system..
It's a good game with lots of fun, adventure, mystery, laughs and is a good challenging game to play..
I've got all 12 of the regular Final Fantasy games including the ones that were packaged with other games..
I've beaten Final Fantasy 7 as well as most of the other ones except for Final Fantasy 11 which is an online only game.

Storyline and also battle system, or someone judge it without play and follow other people opinion ;)
