out to win no matter what?

When I am at the top of my game at whatever and I have a challenger, or I am the challenger, I don't want to cheat or take short cuts. I want that person to be at the best they can ever be, the top of their very form. That way, when I take them down, I take them down all the way. No one can say, I won because of this or that, they will know that I walked in the best and left the best. And if I lose, then I lost to the very best and know I know what I can do to beat them next time

Yes, because I've been screwed over by people who were only "out to win." So even if I don't get everything, I won't hurt someone else to get it.

Fairplay of course, Karma will bite you right in your a$$ if you don't play by the rules. Beside is it really a victory if you had to cheat to get it?
