i found a 22 inch cast iron scroll saw with a 950 strokes per minute. its made in taiwan. im plannig to buy this what do you think?

i plan to work with wood, plastic and steel as my main materials. not too many options are available here in the philippines. assuming with the right blade and correct control of the materials will this saw do the job?

Depends on what type wood you are cutting. Some cut better with high speeds while some are better at lower speeds. You didn't say what the cost was but, there are many varible speed saws available for about $100. Parts may also be an issue. The 22" table is the best part of the saw you are considering.
