I hope you are prepared for a little story. I was a fireman for 26 years. You might imagine, I, and the other firefighters, let our mouths run on several times. When a firefighter let his mouth overload the rest of him, we would flip over the old wooden chair he sat in. With chalk, we would write the date and the outlandish statement. Then when truth would come home to roost, we would find the chair and read the offending statement back to the lying fireman.
Here is an example I wrote on the bottom of Jerry's chair. He comes into the station house and announces his soon-to-be nuptials. I go find the chair that has Jerry's promise, "11/03/1978 - Jerry says he is swearing off women and will never be involved with another woman as long as he lives." Jerry even initialed it. AND the statement was only 3 weeks old.
So, "What runs through my mind when I see an empty chair?" I see a hot seat where truth will finally be told.

Hm, I've never heard that one before.....I guess the only time I think anything about an empty chair is if I've got my hands full of bags or something like groceries and then I am thinking the chair is a good place to set them down.

Unless I have some personal association with an "empty chair" then nothing. So many empty chairs! Who knows, or truly wonders?

Thanksgiving 1995. My mother, who was dying of cancer, by an act of sheer will, sat at the table with us and even ate a bit. She was determined that we would share one last Thanksgiving dinner as a family.
I have no idea where she found the strength to do that. She died exactly 2 months later. The empty chair at our Thanksgiving table day honors Mom's memory, and we are most thankful for the strong, gentle impact her life had on ours!

Is there a ghost or visiting angel sitting in that chair? Is it really empty? Is it really part of the God-mind?

i do no longer techniques the way the girl speaks, different than for the "terr-ee-bil ting". that's somewhat overkill, a tiny bit offensive, and it merely seems stressful written out. as long because it is already been universal she has a Jamaican-kinda accessory then human beings will fill in the blanks and have the accessory of their head. So enable me see...what else? I form of do unlike how plenty the guy overreacts to the aptitude loss of lifestyles of his destiny spouse. it is extremely complicated for somebody to easily say, "Oh, via the way, you are going to marry some vast (you do no longer understand who that's) and something terrible will take place to her." i do no longer think of maximum folk could freak that way. in line with probability grow to be stoic, or maybe resolute in the "properly, now that i understand i'm in no way going to enable this take place," style of way. once you're describing her eyes, you're saying this - "which stood out eerily because of the heavy coating of kohl around them". It takes removed from the temper slightly, because of the fact it reads slightly like a police document. attempt something like, "She stared at me with faded eyes made ever greater eerie via the thickly smudged layer of kohl that surrounded them..." Eh. no longer my ultimate. yet you get what I mean. BQ:all suitable, so it is 6 PM right here. BQ2: And the communicate is..."specific. I might desire to anticipate termination in each and every week."
