Wonder what they "sucked" ?

FF12 is easily one of the best, sorry. Some people complain about "the story" when really they're just mad that Square finally made a game in which the "heroes" aren't a bunch of annoying, confused, immature kids struggling to make some fairly obvious realization about life or love. Instead, they're actually BELIEVABLE as heroes. Even Vaan, who critics love to hate, could stomp the **** out of Tidus - you know he could.

But the real awesome thing about 12 was it was the last FF to give us true freedom in exploration, skills development, and in battle. There are so many things to do in this game, I play it sometimes even after playing some of the new open world games and am still impressed!

FF12 = the last great FF game to date, unfortunately.

I like the game over all but the story was lacking in alot of places. It made scense in the end but it was all just not there, What was the whole point of the main boy (Can't remmber his name atm) He had no palitical standing, he wasn't special in any way other than the fact he brother died where the king died. I like the battle system and the sharp edges the the FMV it was just the story in the end that ticked me off. :3

No it didn't suck, it was a great game which is as good as the others in the series. Although the story didn't suck me in like 'Final Fantasy VII' (The greatest game ever). Everything else was great about the game.
Im playing 'The elder scrolls: IV Oblivion' at the moment, which i completely recommend!!

the foremost to triumphing in FF13 battles isn't brute tension like in all the previous video games. What you will possibly desire to do is save swapping Paradigms. initiate off with Commando/Ravager/Ravager to advance the proportion for an combatants, now and returned change to a Synergist to buff your occasion, a Medic to heal and a Saboteur to debuff enemies. If the boss is extremely useful you are able to choose a Sentinel to divert injury removed from something of the occasion and in the direction of the Sentinel (gets a protection enhance). I havent extremely had a difficulty with too many battles. its extremely no longer that complicated.

The gameplay was nice, I liked it!
The story however... I didn't like it much. The ending was pretty boring & confusing at some point. FF12 is still better compared to FFX-2 though.

I really liked it. I'll admit the story was a bit weaker than in previous FF games, but I enjoyed the gameplay so much it made up for the weak story.

Don't know; never played it. I hated 9, though, for pretty much the same reason that you hate 12
