My Mum lost her engagement ring about 6 years ago.
She is in the middle of moving house and has just found it!
Quite ironic considering Mischy's story I thought!

My grandfather was given 5 half and 2 full sovereigns, dated late 1800s, for his 21st birthday in 1930. Each of his grandchildren recieved one of these half sovereigns when we were born, and for our 18th birthdays they were made into necklaces. Mine broke and was lost while trying on a dress in 1997.
Monetary value: about £70
Personal loss: incalculable
