Not only do I not know, I haven't the slightest idea where to look something like that up. I do know that they tolerate temperatures below freezing by becoming inactive and some sort of hibernate. But at what temperature would they freeze to death, I haven't the slightest.

* A small moth has no need to stay alive. It is the reproductive phase. Once that's accomplished, it dies. The LARVA is the one that must weather the storm. And they can (depending on species) live through bitter winters in caccoons.
