Forgive my ignorance but I always thought that the "lights" went out after the saeason was over and the politicians had finished their excuse for a free holiday.

Do the lights go out? I guess it would look a little grim for an outsider to see the world famous strip blackened out.

"Blackpool council forgot to pay the leccy bill,lol, no idea realy, not the usual for the tower not to be lit up,what with all the illuminations ,unless it was a power down to install more festive light and things like that?
