Who is better Alicia Keys or Beyonce?

If you would have asked this question a couple of years ago, hands down my answer would have been Beyonce. But at this point, I would have to say Alicia Keys.
It’s hard to compare the two because they are different types of artist. I believe that Beyonce's focus is the entertainment while Alicia's is more about the music. I don't think it makes one more true over the other, just different.
My reason for saying Alicia? I say her because I believe that's she's evolving and getting better each album. I was probably one of the few people who didn't like Songs in A Minor vs. I loved Beyonce's debut, but felt B-Day was a step back.
If you ever have an opportunity to see Alicia Keys live, I would tell you to go! I would have to say that I was PLEASANTLY surprised when I saw her! Truthfully, I went to the show because John Legend was the opening act. Alicia showed a true passion for what she does ... I think Beyonce used to have it, but is now a little more concerned with making hits.

That's a tough choice.
Alicia is very gifted. She has a wonderful voice and play the piano very well. But Beyonce is gifted also. She is a great singer, and dancer.
Both women are beautiful, but I would have to go with Beyonce because she has more of a stage presence than Alicia. She can really entertain and has this amazing energy that just explodes.

i guess it depends on what you like to hear. I like r&b and i either like the slows songs or ones that describe some kind of situation. i like alicia keys because of the whole piano thing, that's what makes her stand out to me because i wish i could play like that. I'll always remember Beyonce for her upbeat stuff and dancing. I'd have to say right now, this week, i like beyonce more but that could change cuz i'm weird.

Alicia Keyes has the better talent, Beyonce is okay, but she's not as versatile as Alicia. Beyonce is more commerical, more of a product.
