Do you think he could?

Well just look at the facts of the race. Overall in the national polls he is losing pretty badly, but the surprising thing is in recent polls he is beating Hilary in Iowa. If he wins the vote in Iowa it could give his campaign the boost it needs in the next crucial primaries, but overall he has a very slim chance to win. He has a couple major things that are against him, the first thing is his lack of experience, first term senator? The second thing is that he is black. Although I view this as a positive, i doubt that America is ready for a black president. Far too many people out there are still racist and prejudice. Third he is very young to be president. Overall I think he would be a great president, I saw him speak in sf and he was very good, he is very intelligent and moderate. I'm going to hope for the best, and pray he carries Iowa.
Oh yeah and PS, the massive amount of slander he receives from new sources like fox isn't working in his favor. For example the guy above me, he was raised a christian not a Muslim, and he never went to a Muslim school as fox news claims. Try to watch some unbias media next time not your right wing conservative networks.

He has talent as an orator but he is in great hurry to introduce several half baked / under baked measures which can please his own followers but can not impress the veterans. If nominated by any chance, he will be badly beaten in the finals by any Republican candidate worth his nomination. He is disappointing many of us, his well wishers the way he is pulling down his own seniors in the party.

No. He's too inexperienced. The Republicans will have him for lunch. That's why the Dems are going with Hillary. She can take it like a man and give it right back to them.

he can definitely win the primaries. its stupid to count him out before the vote is even cast.

Its too early to tell about the general. There are just too many factors to bring in. Too much time between now and then.

At this stage, anyone has a shot.

Personally, I would hope that after America gets to know him, they would rather vote for someone else.

Yes, he could. He's personable and charming and photographs well. He has learned to be vague when he needs to be instead of revealing his lack of knowledge or preparation.
