Have you noticed that it's started the day after Halloween now instead of the day after Thanksgiving like tradition? Before you know it, Thanksgiving will be forgotten.

It is all about getting as much money as they can as early as they can. Alot of people do not realize this is a religious holiday anymore.

The old days are gone.

Well the economy and everything else is trying to make things move "faster" and get more money faster.
Halloween stuff is out by the end of August ( sorry the candy is going to be bad before halloween) Thanksgiving stuff goes up the same time as Halloween stuff...
Christmas stuff is out before the Halloween stuff even gets taken off the shelves.
Christmas stuff used to not get put out until the beginning of Nov. now it's october..!

I think it's rediculous.. it's going to be Christmas stuff out in July next year.. so your gonna have to do your christmas shopping 5 months early.. then your kids will find the stuff before christmas..

I agree with you. I walked into a mall on November 1st thinking I could pick up some 1/2 price Halloween items and was shocked to see that stores were made out for Christmas. In the time the stores closed on October 31 to when they opened on November 1st they had totally transformed themselves. Thanksgiving in a one day holiday, Christmas is a multimonth event
