McClellan is the first Bush team member to totally flip on the rest of them... and what he is claiming would be a felony under laws that Bush's father himself helped to put in practice.

But is it too late to think about Impeachment?

Can a President be detained or tried for a felony after he has left office?

trenchcoat - Valeriegate is a play on words... it stems from Watergate, then Monicagate... "gate" has become a suffix that you can add to any name to indicate scandal of the highest order.

There will be those who have begun to claim that Valarie Plame was not an active agent and therefore all else doesn't matter. Those people need to be reminded that Scooter Libby was convicted and sentenced for issues that surrounded the very fact the Valerie Plame was identified as an active undercover CIA agent. How many of our friends in unfriendly governments were jailed or killed for this crime that was promised to be punished by President George W. Bush, who then turned around and pardoned convicted Scooter Libby?
Now it seems that more people than Karl Rove, Vice President Cheney and yes, even George W. Bush, knew about the whole affair and participated in it!
Should they be impeached?
This act of revealing the identity of a secret CIA agent was made a crime by George H W Bush. Yes, the agents who committed this crime against the United States should be punished.
Thanks

Impeachment can never be too late - if no challenge is made to the crimes and usurpations of a President, those actions become "precedent" and future Presidents can wield the same powers as part of the "powers not specified" that our law recognizes. Besides, criminals should be made to pay for their crimes, especially when the violation of trust is so public and so flagrant.

The extra significant question is can American get lower back on the incredible tract to freedom or has Bush, the neocons and fundamentalists ultimately taken the U. S. down the line to fascism. i do no longer think of the U. S. can get better because of the fact we've the two occasion gadget and the two events are currupt and we've now an activist currupt ideally suited courtroom.

With just a little over a year left there would not be enough time.

I have a better idea instead of continuing down the path of phony scandals to gain power why not use the democratic process.

The Bush/Cheney cabal should be impeached immediately. The country can't stand one more year of their reckless policies.

Its not Valerie Gate but Valerie Plame and it is too late now to impeach Bush but as long as we ensure the idiot doesn't pull another terrorist attack in America to stay in power somehow!

There's nothing to "ValerieGate," so no.

Please do impeach Bush. It'll be a waste of your time, and will lower the public opinion of the DNC (even further than what it currently is).
