I can receive email from socal.rr.com, but I can't send email. How do I fix this? They don't have any help online.

I found the problem with the help desk. I was a little upset that there was zero help online. The outgoing mail server info was incorrect in outlook. I had "SMTP.socal.rr.com" but the correct setting is
"SMTP-server.socal.rr.com". I hadn't changed anything so I asked if they had changed their server name. Ms help desk got snippy, saying, "I't's your outlook". When I asked, "I haven't changed anything, so why did it stop working?" She said, It's software, anything can happen", which I thought was pretty lame.
So if anyone else has this situation, then the answer is here in this post.

You're probably traveling and not connected the the RR's broadband. You'll need to turn on Authentication mode on your e-Mail software, or you'll just have to use their webmail system. If you're using Outlook Express, click on Tools, Account Settings. The double click on the Account Name for your RR mail. Click on Servers and checkmark "Require Authentication".
