well it depends on which way you want to take it. From a scientific point of view, evolution is definately the more realistic one, as it has the proof to back it up. Where as, from a religious point of view it is more realistic for creation. God created everything, this can be split up in to furthur catagories, the first cause argument, which is God was the first cause and caused everything to happen as a consequence of each other like dominoes. And the design argument, which is that everything was designed by God ot didn't just happen by chance

You see, as science is very much linked to religion.

I can see evidence for evolution, and can logically connect any animal with any other, along evolutionary lines, such as my pet cat and lions at the zoo. I also see evolution at work with resistance of insects to insecticide and bacterial resistance to antibiotics.

However, with Creation, I just have to accept it, without proof, ie just by faith. No one has ever created anything in my presence.

Clearly evolution is more realistic.

Well, depends what you call realistic...

Science never really solves this mystery of existence. Since it cannot be reproduced, neither creation nor big bang.
Science simply is telling and describing a thing as it is...

I think your question should not have been in the science dep. but rather in the philosophy.

Scientifically speaking, it has to be evolution.

There is plentiful evidence for evolution, and precisely *none* for creationism (excepting the words in a thousands of years-old book)

For any argument to be proven to be true beyond doubt, its has to be FACTUAL!

Evolution is factual evidence while creation is religious evidence.

If u want to stay "hanging", base your facts on religion since it is in my simplest explanation, "believing without questioning". Evolution is more realistic since u get proven answers unlike creation.

Its my advice though u thoroughly research on the topic as whatever u are asking might end up mixing you up. In short, its so broad and very debatable.

honestly... i've never bought evolution. and i mean as a scientist. its NOT science, im sorry... its just a theory. creation is a theory, too. but it bothers me that evolution is taught as FACT not theory, at least they should teach both sides and let the listener decide for themself.

i personally believe in creation. why? well, honestly... because it gives me MEANING. i mean, if evolution is true... we're basically all just worthless flesh. and what does that mean for me? im nothing? i like feeling as if im valuable. creation gives me purpose and worth.

realistic is more view but evidence so far from science has shown evolution is more "realistic"

Evolution. I have a hard time believing Eve came from a rib bone.

if you ask me, I'd say the concept of creation is far more realistic than that of evolution because it makes more sense that a being (GOD) created the universe and decided what was to be in it than to hold on to the notion of the universe coming into existence as a result of a mistake... chance... "the big bang,"
also, if one looks at the complex structure of the universe one cannot deny that something bigger had to be at play... it had to be a part of a plan... the human body alone is proof of this. if you look at how the body is fashioned and how it functions(with perfect precision)... with all its complexity all i can do is stand in AWE... it's a great work of art and not as some would say... chance...
