Going with your boss is considered "sleeping your way to the top". In other words it is NOT how well you do on the job, but how well you do on your knees or on your back & EVERYONE will know this. It can also mean a one way ticket to the unemployment line when they find someone else they like better.
As for the significant other. Going with ANYONE else's significant other is just WRONG!!

Depends on the situation. Is the boss married? If not, then going with their significant other would be worse. If your boss IS married then it would still be worse to go with their significant other.
Going with your boss means a promotion +more pay. Going with your boss' significant other means you're fired.

Going with the significant other because if the boss finds out they will fire you. But if you are messing with your boss you could sue for sexual harassment. Although they could make you want to quit your job they would less likely fire you if you broke up.

i would say there significant other although eather is good but you have more of a chance of loosing your job if you get caught messing awround with your bosses partner

Do you like your job, if you don't date your boss or his/her friend
If you don't go ahead, but never go out with the boss to think you will get ahead. Which I dont think you asked I guess I am confused.
