Oh, what a great choice! I miss him so much. His daughter is SO much like him. I miss him too. I think you have it nailed. I can't think of one other celebrity now that I'd rather have back than Steve. He had a lust for life! He lived a life most people will never experience. Good choice. But I would also choose: Kurt Cobain, Princess Diana (we know The Queen killed her) Oscar Wilde, Johnny Cash, Hunter S. Thompson. Oh! I agree with the girl who mentioned Freddie Mercury. Queen is NOT Queen without him. He WAS Queen.

Freddie Mercury
If watching this kind of talent won't make you want to bring him back to life, I don't know what can be more moving.

Watch this series of video clips and tell me if I'm wrong.
Plus that guy has a big heart too! No matter how homophobes talk about his death from AIDS and his being a bisexual, he left the biggest part of his assets to his love of his life Mary Austin, lavished his friends with the nicest gifts, donated a lot for the AIDS cause and agreed to appeared (and very much with enthusiasm) at Live Aid to raise funds for the children of Ethiopia 6 years before his death.
