Reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing with my little dogs,
working with my plants and flowers, watching TV,being on Yahoo Q & A's or other sites on my computer, talking to my children or grands on the phone, painting, decorating, sitting on my patio with a cup of coffee and just enjoying the out-of-doors, taking an unplanned nap on the sofa.

My daughter figured out that I had, at one time, 18 hobbies including oil painting on wood that became a business for 13 years. I loved painting in oil on canvas but decided I was no threat to Rembrandt.
I read for hours non-stop from my own extensive Christian library, thus bible study, and our library gals select books to send home with my husband knowing they must be decent moral books. I am in bed a lot and have a cleaning lady twice a month which is a huge change from keeping up a very large 4 room farmhouse til we came to Conrad in 2004 and love it.My garden was as big footage wise as our big house and as a town girl,I learned to can and freeze stuff,ie. a doz. homemade apple and a doz. fresh peach pies each in one day -assembly line style -had two very large freezers. With a large farm, I cooked for the hay men crews until large machinery took over. I drove tractor for baling and was the only day nothing broke down and was my first time.I might put a story about that on my 360 blog site!

When I am completely by myself I call those that I have neglected and need to reconnect. To my friends in other countries I e-mail them updating the latest information about family/work/life.
My favorite past time is gardening, but living back East, I am limited. Quite frankly, when I am not traveling and come back to Connecticut, I get the house ready for family gatherings which I look forward to. Thanksgiving and Christmas are busy for me; still do all the cooking . . . . . guess I will until I can't stand or bend any longer. The grown kids still want that Norman Rockwell holiday at home! We try don't we?!

Painting, exercising, a little bead work. We have a garden in the Townhouse complex but I do miss my beautiful garden in SA. Also, listening to music, caching up on the news, time with God and my bible. Oh, there are not enough hours in each day for me.

Well, Peapie I have a variety of things that I LIKE to do. They include DIY home repairs, reupholstery, sewing, crocheting. But I guess the one thing that I ALWAYS do to relax, no matter what time of year (or day) is reading. Books have been my close friends since I first learned how to read at age four. I can't imagine ever giving THAT up for anything else.

When I'm all by myself I like to watch chick movies and sew. Sometimes I like to cook. If I've got the whole day to myself, I visit mom, then go shopping for emotional therapy. While I'm healing from my carpal tunnel opertion, I want to go see "Enchanted" at the movies. I don't care if I go alone. Sometimes when I'm all alone I waste the day away on my laptop! If it's beautiful out, I go for a ride and take pictures. I really like my alone time very much!

While alone? Nothing brings me joy. I live in an apartment, 3rd floor no elevator. I can't garden which I love. No husband.
I guess spending time with my Internet friends whom I dearly love is what I do the most.

I like to do crafts. At the moment I am making blankets for small animal crates to sell as a fund raiser for low cost spay amd neuter. They are fun and easy to do.

I like to read or use the computer. I also like to make jewelry or fix up greeting cards to send loved ones. I even like to turn the music up and do chores around the house.

I go out to find somebody to talk to, actually I find a good book and settle down to read it, fiction mostly but some times something more serious if a friend recommends it.
