It's "Cat's In The Cradle" by the late singer/songwriter Harry Chapin. It was his only big hit. It's about a father who neglects his son while he was growing up and then finds that his son has no time for him after he is grown up. It was based on a poem written by his wife, Sandy. Harry Chapin was killed on the Long Island Expressway in 1981 when his car was mowed down by a truck after he had suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel. It's too bad he seems to be largely forgotten now. Not only was he a songwriter but also a humanitarian who was committed to combating world hunger.
