Sapporo Snow Festival(yukimatsuri) is pretty fun for me. It is one of the highlight events in Japan where you can see many ice statues made by the competitors in Odori park. Tokyo Disney land can be fun for the youngster especially the amusement rides like roller coaster and the drop tower.
As for the hi-tech toilet, some foreigners get trapped inside because of don't know how it functions. By having the complicated keypad with buttons on the toilet, this is awesome.

Their obsession with 'kawaii' (cute) things! Not only toys, food, householding equipments and clothes can be transformed into a kawaii version, even serious organisations like the police have a cute mascotte on their logo.
