I truthfully must tell you I think we all need to appreciate the little things in life. And were on lucky to be living on this planet and living life as it is.

Good question! No...I don't take things for granted. I was in the shower yesterday enjoying the hot water pouring over me! I looked around our house, which is not that big, and I was very thankful that I had a warm place to stay. When I drink water, I'm glad that it's clean, (hopefully), and I'm glad I don't have to worry about as a part of daily life.
I'm glad that you appreciate the little things in life...because our little things tend to be big things in other peoples' lives.

I try to appreciate the little things in life. I am bowled over by blue skies and my children and having a nice house and being warm and being able to sit in bed and type and being born an American instead of any number of oppressed peoples. I'm really happy to stay home and play a game with my family or to play baseball with the tomatoes that get too ripe and the fact that I have such abundance that I can play with my food. But I also forget sometimes in the day to day grind to stop and smell the roses.

some days I do, even though I know better, some days I am almost overwhelmed with the beauty of this world that may be seen in a child's smile, in an old couples attentativeness to eachother as they walk holding hands. in the sight of a puppy or kitten playing with some simple little toy, in the feel of the breeze ruffling my hair/ in the taste of that first morning cup of coffee/ yeah, these simple little things are to be appreciated/and there is nothing that should be taken for granted ... not even waking up in the morning to start it all over again ... it's all good ...

i think we all take things for granted. and we are here for just a short while we know the date we entered into the world but we do not know when we will check out. i say we should live our lives each day like if it were our last.so say alot of i love yous to your family and loved ones .and pray for the ppl that have it hard in life...

I THINK WE ALL DO, IN THIS FAST PACED WORLD, TODAY I TOOK A WALK IN THE RAIN WITH MY DOG. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, WE ALL NEED TO TAKE TIME OUT TO ENJOY & REFLECT ON THE THINGS WE TAKE FOR GRANTED!

i think we all take advantage; not always intentionally. we need to cut each other some slack as human beings as well.
