I think the asker meant to imply that the aliens are actually evolved humans who have the ability to manipulate time travel with their advanced technology. It is conceivable that aliens could be us in the future precisely BECAUSE we evolved from primitive ancestors. In the case of the alien theory, WE are the primitives earlier on the evolutionary time-line. It is as plausible as anything else.
I don't like the negativity I see here sometimes. Keep theorizing!!!

hmm,
I guess this explains why they are way more advanced than us, and why we can not travel back and forth from our original planet to this small rock we invaded that "Humans" call earth. this also explains why our population here is way more than theirs.
It is a valid theory and I totally AGREE!!! ; )
==================
Edit:
since there are many theories about aliens, i thought: why don't I have a theory of my own :) . it is just a theory so feel free to criticize : D
Theory: why do we always assume that aliens are from outer space? Well, I think they are co-existing with us on earth. They are more advanced; however they are way fewer in numbers. So they decide to hide and use their technology to do it.
is that why they look like humans, in general? you know, two legs, two hands, two eyes, a mouth in the lower center of the head, etc.....
what do you think? ; ) should I publish this theory? lol

Excellent theory. I find the theory that somehow humans in the future are coming back to the past fascinating. The whole USA series 400 is based on this. I also like the other theories wherein aliens are actually humans from some other place that colonized this planet but something from then and now went horribly wrong. I live for this, truly.

the international warming deniers are transforming into fewer and much less. Like area fifty one, that's complicated to teach or disprove international warming a hundred% because of the fact of uncertainties approximately what the destiny will deliver, yet far greater instant and circumstantial data factors in the direction of a form in increasing temperatures. Many deniers of international warming think of that if it is chilly as we communicate, then international warming does not exist. a number of them get somewhat scientific approximately it and element out that the earth has long undergone many differences of climate and that what we are experiencing is basically a organic cycle, whether the present fee is plenty quicker and the actual reason is especially evident. This view is inspired via marketplace, which has plenty to lose if human beings initiate annoying an end to toxins. they could might desire to spend tens of millions cleansing up their factories, face stiff fines, or pass out of company in the event that they have been forced to renounce polluting. besides the undeniable fact that, whether it nonetheless gets chilly (in specific circumstances) in wintry climate, many all and sundry is noticing that checklist severe temperatures are happening everywhere in the rustic. all and sundry is loss of lifestyles from somewhat warm temperatures, and that should not be surpassed over. The conspiracy theorists can flap their jaws all they choose, besides the undeniable fact that it won't substitute the reality that greater international places are industrializing, greater autos are being pushed each and every twelve months, and that vegetation that could take up numerous toxins is being torn down at an alarming fee to make way for warm pavement.

Good theory??? Why?
How can we be the aliens when we have a clear ancestry that goes back to very primitive hominids four million years ago?
How can someone confuse us with "aliens," who supposedly are the ones who are buzzing around in flying saucers, squashing crops, reaming out cattle, and kidnaping people and sticking probes in their orifices. Wouldn't THEY be the aliens, whether we called them humans or not?
Why would there be any question when no extraterrestrial has ever been verified?
If you want to call some imaginary visitors "humans." then what are we? We have been "humans" for as long as the word existed.
No, dumb theory.

ok, that makes no sense. The word Aliens means someone who is visiting from another country or in this case planet.
We are living here, not visiting. We are residence.
My ancestors came from europe and I live in the US, but I am not an alien here. I am a resident.

And we share 98% of our DNA with chimps because we were put on this planet? Sure.

That's amazing. How many sugars do you put in your coffee?
(your theory is pretty obvious. thought about that and read evidence for that ages ago...)

I believe this.
The earth has been around for a long time, much longer than humans.
I believe we could have been placed here, and that our time here is running short (at least as we know it)
