Forrest Gump~I agree!
Gladiator
Titanic
Independence Day~Some scenes are OK, but most of it is awful! It ripped off "V" AND "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers", and the "creator" wouldn't even credit these sources.
Shallow Hal
Napoleon Dynamite
American Pie films~After the first couple of nasty scenes, I bailed out of the first one and haven't trusted the rest, not from what I've read in reviews and summaries!
Will Ferrell movies
Adam Sandler movies
grossout/nasty comedies

I hate the flood of Pixar/Disney plastic-looking animation with very little imagination and often-crude humor. The animals generally bear very little resemblance to the real creature, especially evident in the positively hideous "Chicken Little". Did you know that they originally planned to animate "Finding Nemo" with realistic-looking fish? They tossed the idea and went for that other look. "Over the Hedge" is the only one I've seen that seemed to have any real thought and work put into it.

Also, I especially hate seeing what has been dubbed "torture porn" series such as Saw and Hostel become successful. All I have to do is see the clips and read the horrified reviews. I despise where this sort of stuff it taking films. I hate the gorefests! They remake films into even more twisted versions, using new effects to worsen them, and they trash films that were not explicit, twisting "House on Haunted Hill" and "13 Ghosts" into true horrors. I'm tired of innocent, terrified people being butchered, maimed, etc., in such detail! Since when is vivisection entertainment?! It's horrific enough in the imagination, as in "Island of Lost Souls".

"Eye of the Beholder" with Ewen Mcgregar and Ashley Judd. I watched this movie twice and I still don't get it or like it. The Movie has no plot and is a complete and total waste of time and space.

People loved "2001: A Space Odyssey" and the original "Solaris", which was directed by Tarkovsky. I thought that they were boring.
