My co-worker was just told she had to sign a paper stating she wouldn't be sic for the rest of the year or she would be fired. She didn't and now they are going to set up a meeting with human resourses.
She has been out sick 15 times this year, with dr notes. she has a breathing illness.
Who can she talk to that would be on her side?
can they really make her to that?
there isn't a 100% way NOT to get sick, bugs go around the office all the time. We work with 30+ people.
what should she do?

she needs to see legal counsel ,because that paper she signed is B.S.as long as she has doctors notes she might have a foot up on management if she decides to sue them .

Well, what the heck? Do you honestly think her employer should just let her stay at home for months at a time on his dime? No one should expect an employer to put-up with chronic illness, unless of course you are willing to donate a portion of your paycheck to cover for her absences.
