AP World History is typically more rigorous. It probably involves more reading, a more advanced textbook written at the college level, a heavier work load, and more challenging classwork. You should definitely take AP over Honors if you're up for the challenge. AP gives you the opportunity to take a nationally administered exam in May, and if you do well on it, you can potentially get college credit for it. AP classes are generally more attractive on your high school transcript; colleges like to see that you're taking the most advanced course load available to you. Honors World tends to be little more than the basic high school history course. There's really not much to say about it.

Basically, your teacher is asking you to describe how Buddhism affected social and gender issues. Ramifications are consequences.

she's asking how, for those in buddhist culture, what the social effects are - in other words, how that religion affects their society. the gender thing seems a little goofy, but i'm guessing she's asking a similar question as i just mentioned, only how the different genders (male and female) are affected (for example, what traditional roles men and women are expected to play in buddhist society).
and - ramifications means essentially 'effects' or what happens as a result of something.

Consequences or results. It has a negative feeling attached to it. So what the question is asking is:
"What are the results/consequences of being a wealthy or poor female or male Buddhist?" (i.e. what was their life like?)
One of the pillars of Buddhism is to let go of material possessions, but there were wealthy Buddhists, like Richard Gere today :o)

A consequence. A reaction as to something that happened.
"A ramification of women living in third world countries might be higher death tolls, lower standards of health care, etc." Which could translate into, " The consequences of women living in third world countries might be higher death tolls, lowers standards of health care, etc." (just an example to explain).
Hope that helps.

it just means what has happened because of Buddhism when it comes to gender. Like, how are women/men and different social classes treated?
