Show restraint, obviously. Pulling out hair can cause that person pain and he/she might even harm you in some other way.

Pulling hair is so 80's, that went out of style with Dynasty and JR Ewing. You should just give them a backhanded SLAP

of course i'd like to pull their hair, but in real life i wouldn't.
