I know Gabriella is probably the trendiest name out of all your choices (I've met 5 little Gabriella's under 3, but no Gabrielle's or Brielle's), but I like Gabrielle. I sounds like more of a classic to me, and it's a lot less of a mouthful (I quite agree with your husband there)- but that's simply my own opinion. They're both great names.
I think that you should go with either Gabriella or Gabrielle instead of simply Brielle. It's a gorgeous little nickname, but it's best if you allow your daughter the choice to be a Gabrielle if she wants to (i.e. if she's going to a job interview Gabrielle sounds more professional than simply Brielle).
Some more information about whether to use full names or nicknames on the birth certificate can be found here: http://thebabynamewizard.ivillage.com/parenting/archives/2007/10/to_nickname_or_not_to_nickname_2.html
EDIT: If you've already got some nicknames picked out for your daughter, I wouldn't worry about her being called Gabby if you don't like the name (I actually think it's a cute nickname, lol). Nicknames don't usually happen unless they're encouraged.

I like them, but coincidentally, Brielle is the name of a city in New Jersey. Gabriella is my cousins name and we call her Gabby. So, I'm going with Gabrielle. That sounds pretty, but can make a grown-up transformation.

I would go with Gabriella seeing as Gabrielle is the male version and as you stated Brielle is a nick name. On a side not the name Gabriella means God is my stength.
To the person who stated that there are too many Gaby's and she wouldn't feel special, so then is the purpose of a name to make someone special? To me its what you do as a person that makes you special/unique, not your name

I would definitely NOT name her Brielle. It is a very sweet nickname, but it feels incomplete to me as a given name. Gabrielle is my pick. You can still call her Ella or Ellie from Gabrielle, and Brielle is also a fun nickname from it. I would just hope that no one calls her Gabby! I hate that nickname, especially because Gabrielle is so pretty.

Brielle is not a good name, but, if you like it it could be a nickname or a short form for Gabrielle. Ella is an awful name. It reminds me of my dad's girlfriend who is an 85 year old Witch! Mean, old, crazy lady.

I like Gabriella. Not only b/c it's my daughter's name but b/c it is a cute baby's name, a cute name for a kid, cute for a teenager, but it is also good for an adult.
