I started having pain on the left side of my groin area the past few days. When walking normally I rarely notice it. However when I move or twist in a way that pulls my balls at all, I get this bad pain in the right side of my groin. This might be to TMI but when I pull my scrotum myself I definitely feel the pain. Any ideas?

Thanks for info so far. I just think its that its not always noticeable its just when i pull or cause that area to be pulled down. Thats when the pain is really noticeable. Its just on the one side of groin and definitely under the surface.

Could be a hernia or a swollen lymph node. If you shave at all, it could also be an ingrown hair. Sometimes, swollen glands can cause the same pain. Some experience talking is when shaving under the arms everyday, the glands can get blocked causing some swelling and very unpleasant, sometimes unbearable pain. If that what you want to try to rule out, get a very warm washcloth and compress it to the painful area. The warmth will open the pores allowing the gland to drain itself into the lymph system for bodily waste disposal. If that doesn't help after a day or two, call your Dr.

This is one symptom of kidney stones. Men who come into the hospital always say it feels like someone has a vice grip on their balls. Its also a symptom of a testicular tortion which can actually shut the blood supply off to your balls and really make you misreable.
Keep in mind, its only 1 symptom. I think if it doesnt resolve itself by morning, you should call and make an appointment with your healthcare provider.

Inguinal hernia and/or kidney stones can cause this.

Best wishes and good luck.
