19 - 5x/2 = 34
-5x/2 = 15
-5x = 30
x = -6

41x - (-33) - 25x = -145
16x + 33 = -145
16x = -178
x = -89/8

19-5x/2=34 Multiply by 2
38 - 5x=68
5x=38-68=-30
x=-6
You forgot the negative sign

41x-(-33)-25x=-145
41x + 33 - 25x = -145
-16x= - 178
16x=178
x=178/16=89/8 = 11.125
Two negatives make one positive, you did not apply this to -(-33)

19-5x/2=34
all times 2
2 (19-5x/2) = 34*2
38 - 5x = 68
5x = 30
x = 6

You're right!!

41x-(-33)-25x=-145
41x +33 -25x +145 = 0
16x = -178
x = - 89/8

Sorry you're wrong.

for your first problem, you would take 34 and subtract 19. then, you would multiply both sides by 2. This would leave
-5X=30. Then, divide both sides by -5. You are close. x= -6.

For problem 2, 41x-25x=112.
x(41-25)=112
x(16)=112
x=112/16
x=7

19-5x/2=34
-5x/5=34-19
x=15/(-5)*2=-6, not 6

41x-(-33)-25x=-145
16x=-145-33=-178
x=-178/16=-11.125 not -7

i'm pretty sure about this. either your question or your answer has a typo.
