A terrestrial snail or an aquatic snail? If it is a terrestrial snail, it will eat most leafy plants like lettuce, spinach, or broccoli, and most green fruits like cucumbers, zucchini, or grapes (the insides).

What kind of snail? If it is a fresh water snail you can feed it algae eater disks. If it just a regular snail like the kind you find outside...you can soak a piece of dog food and make it all soggy....Then put the snail on it and he will devour it.
