Stats-wise, the Pats are looking good, but their sportsmanship sucks. They think they're too good to shake their opponents' hands at the end of the game and head straight for the media.
I don't care if Peyton Manning threw 10 interceptions in a game, his team is better overall because they have class. I like and respect Tony Dungy, and Peyton Manning OWNS Tom Brady, so the Pats can quit their phony act.
Colts are cool.

If the Colts meet the Patriots in mid-January in the AFC Championship, that of course will be the big test. Because the Patriots are two games ahead of the Colts and because the Patriots beat the Colts head-to-head, the game will be in frozen Foxboro and not in comfortably heated and dry RCA Dome. The Colts have the much harder burder. If Marvin Harrison were 100% might it be different. Possibly. We'll never know. The teams play as they are,not theoretically as they might have been.
And for the people who based their answers on class. Give me a break. As a quarterback Tom Brady is cool, intelligent and effective. And he doesn't do annoying commercials to grub for every last cent that he can lay his hands on.

Dwight Freeney is gone for the season, Harrison is less than 100%. Peyton is having an off year by his standards. The Patriots are on a big time roll right now and they are healthy with all their new weapons from the offseason working out perfectly.
Patriots are clearly better, THIS YEAR. The only weakness I see on the Patriots is that a few of their D players are getting up their in age. ie) Bruschi, Vrabal, Harrison, Seau. But with age comes experience too.
It will be a closer comparison next season I think. Indy will get healthy again and probably add a free agent or 2. Their window of op is closing though because Marvelous Marvin is nearing the end of his career.

Well, the Patriots beat them two weeks ago. It's kinda hard to make an arguement that they are not the better team.
Yeah, the Colts fans are still making excuses about injuries, etc. The Pats had their top two RB's injured, as well as a safety, a D-Lineman, and the best pass rusher in the league. In the injury regard, I think they were pretty even.
We'll see. It's likely that they'll play again in a few weeks.

I think the Patriots are better because of the offense and defense they are both outstanding i dont really know about the speacial teams but i bet they are good as well,
But I and anyone that is not a pats fan... wants them to lose and i hope the team that does defeat them, does it good scores 70 points on them.
I would not be upset if I saw Tom Brady get injured on the highlights (Im not alone).
People dont do the same thing for lets say Brett Favre or Payton Manning because they respect there opponents and bring Class/Character to the game.
Because they are the most watched hated team out there I Think bad things will come to the Patriots I belive everyone truly gets what they deserve in the NFL, i say someone knocks them out in the play offs..probly the colts they came close in regular season.

The Patriots will win their division next week. The Colts are in a fight for a playoff spot.
And duh, the Pats are 10-0, the Colts are 8-2.
That's why!
The real question should be why do you compare the colts to the Pats? There are 2 other teams better than the Colts, the cowboys and packers.

Patriots.. they have greater depth, than the Colts... and they are able to adapt to situations, in a better way. When the Patriots starters are out, for whatever reason, the Patriots, can still win, and can still put up the scores.
The Colts, seem to have fallen apart, without their "premiere" players.
And, to the fans, who speak of "class"... I noted a distinct lack of class, in those among you, who wish bodily harm upon others. Such hypocrisy.

Patriots. but it was close.
Manning needed to step up his game playing them and failed. He still needs to step it up in spite of injuries. Hes a lock hall of famer, I don't care if hes throwing to skippy the wonder dog. He needs to be the man during these times not a spoke on the wheel.
As far as the classy issue, why do you expect people making millions of dollars to be role models? Hello? No wonder people are weird now a days. Parents= role models Parents= the people who tell there kids enjoy there play ignore there there lives. Going to lose a whole generation waiting for these overpaid millionaires, one step removed from being sued or worse, to be the role models parents don't want to be.
The Patriots aren't classy role models, and neither are the Colts. Admit it and admire people who work for a living and/or make a difference. And not just give back the money fans pay them so they don't get booed out of the stadium and ticket sales don't drop.

The Patriots are better because nobody has beaten them, and with the exception of the Colts game, nobody has come close. They're scoring 40+ points on average and destroying anyone that comes into their path.

They are fairly even. The Pats have the advantage of being healthy. They seem to be well conditioned. If the Pats go 16 - 0, then they deserve the title of the best team in NFL history.
