I'm a freshmen at SJU, and I'm planning on going for a buisness major, and for that I'd like to build up my resume with internship's. If people decided to go buisness major, what kind of internships do they take? What do they usually do?

It depends on what kind of business you find interesting. I'm a business professor, and I am always telling my students that I keep seeing entry-level jobs that require from one to three years of work experience, and the only way for them to get that is through internships. You can get an internship in just about any area of business, from information systems, to finance, to marketing. One of my students today told me that he is working as an intern at a lifestyle marketing company, and his boss said hello to me - she was one of my students maybe five years ago, and she used to be an intern at the same company.

Apply for the numerous internships offered by the big banks. Credit Suisse, Citigroup, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America etc. If you're not up to their standards, try a private bank. There are thousands of opportunities for you. Make sure your spelling and grammar are perfect before you submit anything..
