the first pacifists in America during the early 1800s. they thought that americans need better education. but if u want to put the blame on a country, blame japan and russia. america "has" to be the first in everything and realized that russia was going to space, so they increased science and math in america. also, John Dewey developed more hands-on experience for reading and math, such as book reports.
if you want to know why i know all this is because i strongly despise everyone who modified learning and made math so difficult. also, i hope the pacifists died violent deaths
