yes it helps thinning the cm when it is hosticle for sperm to swim threw, it is mostly taken by ladies who are taking clomid because clomid makes the cm dry

Its used to help thin out CM
some women have very thick CM whichs makes is very hard if not impossible for the sperm to travel through and they get stuck... drinking water will help increase low CM and then use the quaifessen(?) not sure on spelling but really dont feel like getting up to look, to thin the CM out..however there is much debate on it causing birth defects..talk to your doc

Yes, it is supposed to help thin mucus EVERYWHERE in your body, not just lungs so you can have more productive coughs. But when I took cough syrup with guaifenesin, it just made me more dry *down there* which I definitely didn't want TTC.
