IMO ANT if the carter 3 is anything less than a 5 mic classic than it will be a disappointment but like evil once said "mix-tapes don't make you great" and with all the hype surrounding him this is his chance to prove hip hop fans if he can put out a classic album the guy is already on his 6th album and his strongest effort has been the carter 2 which is a solid album and nothing more Tha Carter 3 needs to be nothing less than a hip hop masterpiece if lil wayne wants to hang with the greats in hip hop especially all the hype he has made for his self

IMO Lil Wayne has been categorizing himself as the best rapper alive and all these little kids are believing him, as if he just released an illmatic album. instead of being a humble rapper, hes gonna release carter 3 (i don't know when the hell he will) its gonna be an ok album and everybody's eyes will open and see hes not the best but just an OK rapper. and get off him because they will expect the very best and receive the real lil wayne, ONLY A MEDIOCRE RAPPER. from what i hear from pre-carters and carter leaks, Cater III WILL NOT be a classic album, nowhere near

I think it could be the last chance but if it does become a classic..he wont be in the same sentence as Jay-Z.....Jay-Z has put out classic after classic...i dont think Wayne is capable of that..
EDIT: geek or die i think that Busta can be in the same sentence as Jay-Z if he has even close to a classic...

that's a favorable. sure!!! why might III be any diverse from I and II? it won't. The Carter III will earnings classic status basically because of the fact the fist II installments of the Carter have.

I think it is his last chance. He is at his prime now. He has been telling us that he is the best rapper alive and it is time that he tries to live up to the title that he has decided to give himself. This album will be his best selling album because of all the publicity and if he does not deliver, all he will do is decline in popularity.

i think lil wayne is young enough to be in the game a little while longer so he is in no rush to put out a classc album. he gets better with age so maybe he will be great in a couple of years.

first off jay z is terrible hes the biggest biter in the industry, second of all lil wayne is way better than jay z third of all i dont think it will be a classic because his mixtapes are better
