ok, I skipped 2 grades and I would like to get a scholarship if at all possible, whether it be in athletics or academics. I want to know if colleges can look at one's age, and are allowed to refuse them because of their age. it may sound ridiculous, but is it possible that colleges could say, "well, they're too young to enter college and can't enter the real world yet, so we definitely can't accept someone like that." I want the truthful answer, but I do get all A's in honors and am involved in 3 sports.

No, certainly it won't be looked at negatively. Maybe if you were extremely young, like 7 or 10, it would matter, but if you are 15 or 16, you should be fine. I don't know about the NCAA's rules for student-athletes, though.

I don't know. I did get into Community college about 3/4 years early (@14) and we had a heckova time working it.

They were very discriminatory, and didn't want me to go at all, but due to legal pressure they had to (they did have a clause saying no discrimination based on age).

Even yet they made me take no more then 10-11 credits a semester. They said that any professor had the right to refuse to allow me in class, etc etc. They were not easy or helpful at all.

Basically that was a community college, without admission reqs or anything. A university will likey be harder.
