The Green party, although they have more of a focus on environmental issues. The Green party is generally to the left of the Democratic party platform, far more progressive, just like the relationship between LibDems and Labour over in the UK.

Many people were expecting the Green party to merge with the left wing of the Democratic party to create something along the lines of a "Progressive Party," which would resemble both in party platform and numbers what the LibDems make up in the UK. Ralph Nader, Peter Camejo, Vermont's Bernie Sanders (independent) are pretty well known green/progressives, and the US congress has a "Progressive caucus" made up of more leftist Dems. If a progressive party existed here in the US, I would most likely be a part of it, instead of a left-leaning independent..

There is no third party in the US with anywhere near the influence of the Lib Dems.
Politically the UK Lib Dems would align with the left of the Democrat Party.
